What to Expect During Your Irisium Session
Your Irisium session is simple, comfortable, and designed to let you see your iris in incredible detail. We use specialized photography equipment and controlled lighting to capture your eye without anything touching your face or eye.

Nothing touches your eye or face, and there are no puffs of air. You’ll simply sit in position, look where directed, and keep your eye open for a few moments while we capture the images.
You can blink, relax, and take breaks whenever needed.

The actual photography only takes a few minutes per person. We capture several images so we can make sure we have the detail, focus, and coverage needed to create your high-detail finished iris.

Yes. We generally recommend approximately age 5 and older, but every child is different.
The most important thing is that we can communicate simple directions, help them get comfortably into position, and have them look where needed for a few moments.

That’s usually not a problem. Some people naturally have more hooded eyelids or may find it difficult to keep the entire iris visible at once.
We can photograph different areas of the iris separately and combine what we need for the final image. If helpful, we may also ask them to gently lift an eyebrow or pull down slightly on the cheek to reveal more of the eye.
We don’t touch your face or eye during the process, and we’ll guide anyone who may this, through the process.

How Much Time Should We Book?
1–6 people: Book a 45-minute Irisium Session.
7–12 people: Please book two consecutive 45-minute Irisium sessions.
More than 12 people: Contact us, and we would love to help arrange a special session just for your group.
Booking With Family or Friends Separately?
Did you know? Irisium sessions can be booked separately and combined to create shared artwork. A unique way to do family photos.
